Yet another piece on female representation in the fantasy genre.  I’ll stop making art about it when it stops being a problem.  Even then, I’ll keep making it because knowing your history is important.  Towards the bottom you have your Red Sonjas and typical Heavy Metal girls that are really only there to prostrate and be sexy.  But the genre is changing, there’s a huge influx of female talent (our predecessors are also getting vocal about it) into the genre who are sick of how women are portrayed in fantasy art.  So hopefully combined efforts can culminate in a serious shift in how things are done.
