Remembering the wwe ‘13 video game commercial where Punk was dressed in “swat gear” (much like the uniforms the shield wore throughout their tenure). A commercial that was released about a month before the shield debuted at survivor series in 2012. Punk said in Colt Cabana’s podcast that the shield was originally his idea and that they were scheduled to work with Punk and be his stable. Possible start to said idea before wwe ripped that idea away from him and went another route.
